Dr. Heather Champion is no stranger to the aches and injuries associated with an active lifestyle...and the setbacks which can result from those injuries. Her goal is to make sure each patient feels cared for on an individual basis from initial evaluation through completion of care. Dr. Champion graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelors in science and biotechnolgy. She took a break from seasonal cold weather to attend National University of Health Sciences in Saint Petersburg, Florida where she earned her doctorate of chiropractic. She went on to complete certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician specializing in female athletes and dancers.
Dr. Champion has enjoyed serving in several roles with the the American Chiropractic Association (ACA). Her involvement with ACA has involved travel to Washington D.C., where she lobbied on Capitol Hill for improved access to chiropractic care for veterans and their families. This opportunity held a special place in her heart as she is married to a Marine.
Dr. Champion has many titles, but her favorite is mom! You can often see her husband and daughter helping out around the office. In her spare time, Dr. Champion enjoys spending time with her family, kayaking, working out, or visiting other local small businesses.
Abbie is a wife and mom of two girls that lives in Nashville, TN. In addition to teaching yoga, she owns and operates a kickboxing business, 9 Round, with her husband Josh.
After nearly 10 years of practicing yoga, a series of crazy events, and a little nudge from the universe...Abbie finally said YES to yoga teacher training! She enrolled and completed her 200 RYT at Rising Wolf Yoga School located in Nashville, TN and Polebridge, Montana. She teaches all over Nashville and the surrounding area focusing on vinyasa flow, power flow, YIN, and children's yoga. Her classes mix traditional postures with creative flow, focusing the mind and breathe for a fun, challenging experience.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and friends. Traveling, getting outdoors, and enjoying the beautiful city of Nashville and all it has to offer. She loves all things 90's and creative outlets like knitting and hand embroidery.
